AI Product Engineer

Overview

We are looking for an AI Product Engineer who sits at the intersection of product thinking and ML engineering. You will build user-facing AI features that feel magical but are grounded in rigorous engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered product features from concept through deployment
• Build interfaces that surface model outputs with appropriate context and confidence
• Develop feedback loops that capture user signals to improve model performance
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to productionise experimental models
• Define product metrics that measure both user engagement and model quality

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years building products with a strong AI/ML component
• Full-stack engineering ability with proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Understanding of LLM integration patterns, RAG, and prompt engineering
• Experience designing for uncertainty — communicating model confidence to users
• Product sense for what AI features actually solve user problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience shipping AI features used by thousands of users
• Background in UX research or human-computer interaction
• Experience with A/B testing and experiment-driven product development
• Portfolio of product work with measurable user impact
