Analytics Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an Analytics Engineer who builds the data foundations that make business intelligence possible. You will design and maintain the pipelines, models, and transforms that turn raw data into decision-ready insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data transformation pipelines using dbt or equivalent
• Build scalable data models that power dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analysis
• Implement data quality tests, monitoring, and lineage documentation
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Optimise query performance and warehouse costs

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics engineering or data engineering
• Expert SQL skills with experience in modern data warehouses
• Proficiency with dbt, Airflow, or equivalent orchestration tools
• Experience with version control and CI/CD for data pipelines
• Understanding of dimensional modelling and data warehousing best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
• Background in data product thinking — treating data as a product
• Experience with streaming data and real-time analytics
• Contributions to the analytics engineering community
