QA & Test Automation Engineer

Overview

We are hiring a QA & Test Automation Engineer who believes quality is a design discipline, not a phase. You will build the testing infrastructure and culture that prevents defects from reaching production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test suites across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers
• Build and maintain test infrastructure including fixture generation, test data management, and parallel execution
• Establish quality gates in CI/CD pipelines that prevent regressions
• Perform exploratory testing and feed findings back into the automation strategy
• Define and track quality metrics, surfacing trends to engineering leadership

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years in QA engineering with a strong automation focus
• Proficiency with Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks
• Experience designing test harnesses for REST and GraphQL APIs
• Comfortable with TypeScript or Python for test scripting
• Understanding of testing strategies for mobile and web applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with visual regression testing and accessibility automation
• Background in performance and load testing (k6, Artillery)
• Contributions to testing tools or testing communities
• Experience testing AI/ML pipeline outputs
